I consider that such a situation would be
detrimental to the Hospital, and shall therefore be

next meeting I intend to propose the following resolution:-
"That in view of the attitude of the Hongkong
War Charities Committee, as represented by its
Hongkong representatives, the Committee of the R.F.C.
Hospital regret that they are unable to accept the
proposed contribution of £10,000 a year to be devoted.
to an extension of the Hospital. If the offer of
£200 a month to the funds of the R. F. C. Hospital,
without conditions, is still open the Committee will
accept it gladly.
The President is hereby
authorised to write a letter, to be approved by the
Committee, to H. E. the Governor of Hongkong, for
the information of the War Charities Committee,giring
the reasons for this decision.

As I have accepted personal responsibility for
the lease of 82 Eaton Square, I propose, if this resolution
be approved, to retain that house to be at the disposal
